Dr. Nick grew up in Centerville, Utah and met his sweetheart, Kambria, in high school. He served a two-year church mission in Santiago, Chile before earning a Bachelor of Science from the University of Utah. Dr. Nick received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Texas Health at San Antonio School of Dentistry, graduating with higher honors and earning multiple scholarships and awards in clinical dentistry and research.
Following dental school, Dr. Nick completed a two-year residency in pediatric dentistry at the University of Texas Health at San Antonio. During his residency, he received advanced training in behavior management, sedation dentistry, hospital dentistry, and the care of children with special healthcare needs.
Dr. Nick truly cares about helping children have a positive dental experience, because he understands that experiences in childhood can shape how someone feels about dental care for the rest of their life. Aside from the fun environment that working with kids provides, a major reason Dr. Nick pursued pediatric dentistry was his desire to be a trustworthy resource for young families as they build healthy oral habits from an early age. He has always had a strong desire to learn, and continues to stay up to date with the latest techniques through continuing education. He values serving his community and has also participated in dental outreach trips to Guatemala to provide care to underserved children.
Dr. Nick and his wife, Kambria, enjoy spending time with their children. In his free time, he enjoys fishing, boating, sports, and being outdoors, and hopes to one day earn his private pilot’s license.
